Project Overview

The Rongo University website is the official digital platform for Rongo University, designed to support academic communication, student engagement, and institutional visibility. The platform serves as a central hub for university information including admissions, academics, news, research, and administrative updates.

Challenges

The main challenges involved handling a large-scale institutional system with multiple user roles (students, staff, and administrators), ensuring data consistency, and maintaining performance under high traffic. Another key challenge was balancing modernization with the existing institutional workflows.

Solution

A modular Laravel-based architecture was implemented to ensure scalability and maintainability. FilamentPHP was used to streamline administrative workflows, while Alpine.js enhanced frontend responsiveness without adding heavy complexity. Database optimization and clean API design ensured smooth data flow and system reliability.
